Synopsis

The post-Civil war generation of the Dutton family travels to Texas, and joins a wagon train undertaking the arduous journey west to Oregon, before settling in Montana to establish what would eventually become the Yellowstone Ranch.

Jordan Walker Ross was cast in the role of Mikel without knowing the extent of work that lied ahead. While he only speaks a few times throughout the 9 episodes in which he appears, Jordan worked over 60 days over the course of 6 months, throughout Texas and Montana. As one of the principal immigrant characters Jordan worked closely with Tim McGraw and Sam Elliott, as well as LaMonica Garrett and Eric Nelsen and has stayed close to many of his cast mates years later.
